The nose is fruity, elegant and offers power as well as a good structure (but full of elegance). It reveals notes of ripe cassis, very ripe plum and small notes of ripe blueberry associated with small touches of ripe raspberry, crushed/candied redcurrant associated with fine touches of caramelization, toasted, very discreet hints of black olive, violet/laurel, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of balsamic. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers gourmandize, a beautiful definition, a small freshness, juiciness, a beautiful finesse, delicacy as well as a mineral and finely acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ripe/juicy cassis, juicy/fleshy blueberry and small notes of juicy/ripe red berries associated with fine touches of violet, black olive as well as very fine hints of caramelization, toasted almond, cardamom/sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and finely tight. Suavity on the finish.
