The nose is elegant, mineral, very finely tight and offers a small racy power. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, very ripe black cherry and small notes of wild small fruits associated with fine touches of liquorice, cardamom as well as very discreet hints of black olive, pepper and a subtle hint of tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, gourmandize, juiciness, straightness, a fine tension, a beautiful definition of the fruit, suavity, a small fat, fullness as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/fleshy raspberry, ripe/fleshy Bigarreau cherry and small notes of ripe/fleshy strawberry associated with hints of black olive, very fine hints of garrigue, cardamom and very discreet hints of underwood. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length. There are very discreet hints of tonka bean, toasted almond, toasted and salinity on the finish/persistence.
