The nose is fruity, with a certain controlled strength and a fine spicy edge. There are notes of fresh blackberry, wild berries and, more slightly, olive tree, combined with fine hints of sage, wild red fruits and a discreet hint of toast. The palate is fruity and offers some minerality, freshness, accuracy, a nice mineral framework, good definition, focus on the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of roasted cherry, roasted blackberry and more lightly thyme, sage combined with touches of bright black berry, roast and a fine touch of camphor, black olive, and mocha, a subtle powdery touch on the finish/persistence. Good length. The tannins are supple and sapid
