Parcela de Luz, Inspired by Rocim 2021 – Douro

The nose is aromatic and offers fleshiness of ripe fruit. It expresses notes of crushed red plum, crushed raspberry, morello cherry and blackberry, a hint of dark chocolate, vanilla and chocolate cherry, as well as a touch of toast and dried rose. The palate is very gourmand, juicy and suave, with lots of flavors and a lovely freshness of fruit. It expresses notes of morello cherry, wild plum, bird cherry, as well as touches of peppermint, fresh peony and cherry in chocolate. The tannins are fine and powdery, grippy in the mid-palate and finish. Beautiful juiciness, lots of fruit and gourmandise, combined with a well-built tannin structure and nice acidity. The finish also offers notes of cherry in chocolate and a hint of sweet tobacco. A pleasant, well-constructed wine.
