The nose is fresh and offers a beautiful maturity of the fruit. It reveals notes of blackberry crushed / jammy, fresh redcurrant and menthol licorice associated with a hint of garrigue and a subtle hint of cherry jam. The palate is well-balanced, dynamic and offers a beautiful freshness, a fine acid frame, roundness as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, blueberry jam, black cherry and a subtle hint of strawberry jelly associated with touches of chocolate, toasted oak, tonka bean as well as a touch of caramelization / nougatine, prune, sweet spices, coffee, blond tobacco and an imperceptible touch of caramelized mandarin (in the background). Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length and beautiful persistence.
