Paradise Springs – Cabernet Franc 2021 – Virginia

The nose is fruity and offers a certain darkness, a spicy side as well as a discreet powdery side. It reveals notes of black blackberry, violet and small notes of spices associated with touches of black berries as well as hints of small blue fruits and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, a good definition, juiciness, freshness as well as a subtle sappy/floral hint in the background. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small black berries, black plum and small notes of cornflowers associated with touches of camphor as well as a subtle hint of small crunchy blue fruits. Good length.
