The nose is fruity, elegant and offers gourmandise, a certain power and a fine powdery side. There are notes of pulpy/juicy boysenberry, fleshy wild red berries and more slightly violet, graphite combined with hints of Bigarreau cherry, tonka bean and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-managed, racy and offers an acidic structure, minerality, good definition, juiciness, precision, fine freshness and a fine straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and, more slightly, fleshy strawberry notes combined with hints of violet, graphite, racy minerality as well as a subtle hint of saline gravel, tonka bean and a discreet touch of toastiness. A powdery finish. The tannins are elegant, precise and racy. Good persistence.
