The nose is fruity, elegant and precise, but would benefit from decanting. It reveals notes of violet plum, cubeb pepper and small notes of sweet spices, tobacco, black olive, a hint of dry local grove, as well as discreet hints of thyme. The palate is well-built, fresh, supple and offers brightness, gourmandise, a tangy frame, tension, suppleness and gourmandise. In mouth this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, sage, eucalyptus, fine hints of black berries, juniper berries, as well as fine hints of concentrated violet plum, cedar and fine hints of toasted. Good length. A hint of brilliant blueberry, even roasted. Saline, sappy tannins.
