The nose is fruity, fresh and subtle. It reveals notes of cassis, boysenberry and a touch of boxwood associated with fine points of cherry, liquorice, discreet notes of wood as well as a hint of rose, tobacco and a fine hint of violet. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, fine, nicely defined, well-balanced, harmonious, subtle and offers juiciness as well as a small acid frame and a beautiful silky matter. The attack is relatively tight. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy blackberry and touches of Quetsche plum associated with hints of fresh blueberry, wood, blueberry cream as well as a discreet touch of chocolate and violet. Tannins are very fine, elegant and supple. Good length.
