(aged in barrels) The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is expressive, fragrant, floral and toasty on opening. It initially offers distinct notes of white flowers (acacia, lily, orange blossom), combined with delicate lactic (lemon yogurt, raw butter), toasted (lightly toasted hazelnut, heated wood) and spicy (vanilla in the background, a hint of coriander and Timut pepper) notes. Aeration reveals mineral, calcareous and chalky notes, combined with citrus (lemon, grapefruit, lime) and tangy fruits (white peach, apricot, green apple). The palate has a gourmet attack, honeyed (chestnut honey) and slightly bitter (lime, grapefruit). The mid-palate expresses notes of ripe blood orange, tangy green apple, white peach, and exotic fruits (guava, a hint of kiwi, tangy pineapple). There are also notes of milk (butter, lemon yogurt), toast (toasted almond with a slight bitterness, toasted wood in the background) and spice (vanilla in the background, coriander seed, a light peppery touch). The finish is long, flavorful and delicious, with toasted notes of hazelnut and wood, as well as tangy lemon cream. Beautiful salivating acidity. A complex, slender, straight and fresh wine.
