The nose is fruity, slight and quite rich. It reveals notes of cassis cream and blackberry cream associated with slight notes of blueberry, dark chocolate, tobacco, zan as well as a hint of toasted oak and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, nicely defined, dynamic, gourmand, well-balanced and offers minerality, an acid frame, a beautiful fat as well as a beautiful silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, juicy Quetsche plum and slight notes of strawberry, red berries associated with touch of dark chocolate, oak as well as a discreet hint of liquorice, minerality and a hint of iodine. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
