The nose is intense and spicy, revealing notes of baked and bruised apples, quince, cinnamon, vanilla and cream. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a light, ethereal body and refreshing but suave acidity. The flavours are consistent with the nose with a lot of apply fruitiness, a touch of wood, nutmeg and cloves, lemon and lemon curd, some grapefruit zest. A wine in the oxidative style with a good complexity and a pungent, spicy finish.
