The nose offers a small aromatic power, a certain intensity and a fine grain. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of leather, spices, small notes of small fresh black berries associated with a touch of violet plum, liquorice stick, discreet hints of Cuben pepper, dry garrigue, tobacco as well as a very discreet hint of black tea. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a beautiful freshness, suavity, fullness as well as a good acidulous frame and a certain aromatic purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small juicy/fresh black berries, bright blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of pistil, Cuben pepper, spices, a subtle hint of small red berries as well as discreet hints of sugared mild tobacco and caramelization.
