The wine has a pale tile color. The nose is fragrant and expresses precise oxidative notes and spiciness, as well as a touch of torrefqction and a sweet hint of caramel. We find notes of dried apricot, dried fig, a hint of dried grape and prunes, caramel, toffee, walnut praliné, caramelised almond, dried bitter orange peel, as well as a touch of ground ginger, grated nutmeg and a touch of freshness, brought by a delicate note of crushed mint. The palate is tasty, delicately spicy on the attack. In the mid-palate, we find flavors of dried fruits (dried apricot, dried fig, a hint of dates, prunes qnd blackcurrant), associated with oxidative notes of caramelised walnut and dried apple (in the background), sweet spices (ground ginger, grated nutmeg), fresh tobacco and caramelised almond. The finish is persistent, complex and develops from fruity notes (dried fig, roasted apple) to oxidative notes of fresh nuts and caramel, with a warming hint of alcohol. Good balance overall between sugar, alcohol and acidity.
