Nicolas Fèvre 2023 – AOC Auxey-Duresses

The wine has a beautiful, bright pale cherry color. The initial nose is fresh and fruity with a hint of toast. There are black and red fruits like blackberry and juicy strawberry. There is a nice hint of mild, almost sweet spices. The second nose opens with black pepper and fresh notes of juicy cherry. The palate is fresh and fruity with notes of cherry, blackberry, juicy blackcurrant, and luscious strawberry. There is a slight roundness to the fruit with silky, tangy tannins. On the finish, there is a slight, racy minerality with notes of blackberry skin and lemon zest.
