The nose is fresh, fruity, beautifully built and offers elegance, juiciness as well as a beautiful texture / grain. It reveals notes of black cherry and small notes of wild black berries associated with small / fine touches of crushed raspberry, crushed redcurrants, slight hints of licorice as well as a discreet hint of balsamic, spices and pepper. The mouth is fresh, juicy, well-balanced, dynamic and offers a beautiful acid frame, a beautiful definition, precision, power (but full controlled), finesse, a small suavity as well as a beautiful delicate and silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy / juicy redcurrants and small notes of juicy / crunchy raspberry associated with small touches of blackberry, crunchy strawberry as well as small hints of violet, liquorice, racy minerality, chocolate , wood, an imperceptible hint of toasted almond (bottom) and discreet hints of coffee on the finish. Tannins are elegant, racy and very slightly powdery. Small chews and a slight grainy / powdery sensation on the finish.
