The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is aromatic, it expresses notes of ripe red fruits, fresh and in jam and a slight meaty note in the background. There are also sweet spices (cinnamon, liquorice) and floral notes (violet, peony). On the palate, the wine is round and open, on the fruits. It expresses notes of red cherry, sour cherry, red plum, black plum, as well as some smokiness, dried mint, licorice and white pepper. The tannins are tight, a bit grippy, but integrated into the structure of the wine. There is a slight bitterness and a pleasant acidity in the finish.
