The nose is aromatic and offers concentration and a small freshness. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, elderberry and small notes of crunchy wild red berries associated with touches of scrubland, black olive, racy minerality, Sichuan pepper, slight spices hints as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla, tonka bean and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a small tension, straightness, a slight fat, suavity, finesse, a slight roundness, gourmandise as well as a very slight acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed black berries, crushed raspberry and small notes of cherry associated with small touches of strawberry, tonka bean, spices as well as discreet hints of scrubland, flowers and blond tobacco. Tannins are fine, a bit tight and a bit dry. (2024+)
