The nose offers a small richness, gourmandise and a fine grain. It reveals notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of tonka beans combined with small touches of red fruits acidulous candy, flowers as well as small toasted hints, Zan and a very discreet hint of thyme. The palate is fresh, structured and offers minerality, a slight acidulous frame, suavity, roundness, juiciness, precision as well as a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crunchy red berries and small notes of blackberry, licorice stick / Zan associated with small touches of fleshy cassis, tonka bean / mocha as well as hints of olive / olive tree and discreet hints of flowers / thyme. Tannins are straight and slightly dry. Good length. The finish is gourmande. There are a hint of dried almond / hazelnut, caramelization and vanilla on the finish.
