The wine has a bright ruby color. The nose is delicate and reserved, but offers concentrationand good fruity concentration. It expresses notes of morello cherry, tart red cherry, crushed raspberry, roasted red cherry, blackcurrant, dried strawberry, blackberry (in the background), associated with touches of mint chocolate, cut rosemary, rose and violet petals, as well as a hint of licorice and nutmeg in the background. On the palate, the wine is juicy, round, but straight and fresh. It expresses notes of red cherry, morello cherry, red currant, crushed raspberry, as well as violet, cut rosemary, dried mintand a hint of blackcurrant in the background. The tannins are firm, but enveloped by the juiciness of the fruits and a salivating acidity. The finish is rather persistent and tangy.
