The wine has a pale ruby color. It has an aromatic and floral nose, slightly mineral after aeration. We find notes of rose, lilac, iris and lily, associated with juicy and tangy fruit (bigarreau cherry, raspberry, blueberry, fresh blackcurrant), with notes of sweet spices (liquorice, nutmeg, a very delicate touch of vanilla in the background) and herbs (wild mint, bay leaf), as well as a touch of macerated cherry in the background. On the palate, the wine expresses tangy fruits with a slight bitterness (bigarreau cherry, cranberries, raspberry, blueberry, a touch of crushed blackcurrant), floral and herbaceous notes (rose, lilac, wild mint, blackcurrant leaf), associated with a touch of sweet spices (licorice, white pepper). The tannins are firm, grippy on the finish and slightly drying. Beautiful salivating acidity and good persistence on the palate, with a delicate note of bitter cocoa.
