The nose is fruity, slightly firm and offers a fine grain. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis, small notes of violet associated with small touches of grey pepper, a hint of grilled and cocoa. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers fat, a small richness, mineral as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of violet, chocolate, mild tobacco as well as discreet hints of grey pepper and a subtle hint of caramelization. Tannins are well-built.
