Musto Carmelitano – Serra del Prete 2019 – Aglianico del Vulture DOP

A pretty nose marked by the volcanic soil, which expresses notes of aromatic herbs and, more slightly, quite ripe small fruits and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, nicely tense and racy and offers juiciness, a mineral frame, good definition, a certain purity in minerality, roundness. It expresses notes of wild blackberry, wild raspberry and, more slightly, camphor / volcanic rock as well as hints of aromatic herbs and a fine hint of sage and fresh tobacco in the background. Good length and definition. A fine hint of juicy blueberry in the background.
