The nose is elegant and offers a slight freshness as well as a slight concentration / power. It reveals notes of cassis, licorice, small crushed red berries, wild strawberry and small notes of blackberry combined with touches of cherry, liquorice as well as a very discreet toasted hint and an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity, beautifully balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a slight tension, a mineral frame (racy minerality), a beautiful grain, a very slight richness, a slight gourmandise as well as power (well controlled). On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, ripe wild strawberry and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with touches of blackberry as well as a very discreet hint of licorice stick, colas, sour cherry, chocolate and a very discreet toasted hint / caramelized hint. Tannins are fine, very discreetly tight and a bit firm. Good length. There are a hint of dark chocolate / cocoa and a hint of fresh almond on the persistence (brings gourmandise). Very discreet chew on the persistence.
