The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is subtly floral and herbaceous, delicate and a bit reserved. It expresses notes of wildflowers, fresh rose and lilac, combined with touches of dried mint, thyme flower, laurel berries and fresh tobacco. The fruits on the nose are fresh, tangy and juicy. We find notes of raspberry, bigarreau cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry and wild plum, as well as a fine spiciness (liquorice, ground nutmeg, white pepper). The palate is airy, juicy and tangy, with well-built tannins, but quite supple and fine. It expresses the flavors of red cherry, crunchy strawberry, raspberry, wild plum, combined with touches of fresh rose, lilac, and delicate notes of sweet spices. The finish is persistent and offers good bitterness, lively acidity and expresses the slightly dry touch of the tannins (but pleasant and envelopped in a gourmand fruitiness). A chiseled and straight wine, well structured and savoury.
