Mura Mura Sorano 2021 – Barolo

Mura Mura Sorano 2021 – Barolo

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. A lot of gourmandise on the first nose, even sweetness of aromas of crushed wild strawberry and roasted morello cherry. After aeration, the wine reveals notes of crushed raspberry, red cherry, as well as a touch of bitterness of fresh cherry. We also find sweet spices with a menthol and liquorice-like nuances (liquorice, a hint of cardamom, nutmeg and white pepper), associated with notes of aromatic herbs (dried rosemary, dried thyme, a hint of peppermint), as well as cocoa powder, cornflower and dried rose. The palate is tight, even closed, with a good bitterness and a tannic side of fresh cherry, as well as a lively and persistent acidulous frame of acidulous fruits (cranberries, bigarreaux cherry, raspberry, tart strawberry, blackcurrant). There are also slightly bitter roasted notes (coffee, cocoa, toasted almond), as well as sweet spices (liquorice, cardamom), aromatic herbs (dried rosemary, dried thyme) and dried wild flowers. Good persistence in the mouth, with a lively acidity and flavors of tangy fruits (cranberries, fresh cherry). Tannins are firm, tight and grippy, with a solid structure.
