Mura Mura Serragrilli 2021 – Barbaresco

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is expressive and gourmand, thanks to notes of ripe fruit (even slightly jammy) and sweet spices. We find notes of morello cherry, red cherry jam, wild strawberry, blackberry, black plum, raspberry coulis and strawberry jam, associated with notes of ground cumin, liquorice, nutmeg, grilled vanilla and cinnamon (in the background), dark chocolate as well as touches of dried rose, dried mint, as well as delicate mineral aromas (tar, limestone, even chalk). The palate offers a lot of freshness and juiciness in the flavors of tangy and tannic black fruits (blackcurrant, wild plum), gourmand red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, red cherry jam), sweet spices (ground cumin, cloves, liquorice), flowers and fresh herbs (rose, wild mint). The finish is persistent, fresh and expresses the racy minerality of the wine (a slightly drying limestone hint). A gourmand and ripe wine, with beautiful acidity and persistence on the freshness of red fruits.
