The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is fragrant, finely mineral, herbaceous and spicy. It expresses notes of wild mint, laurel berries, thyme, dried rose, fresh tobacco, associated with a distinguished minerality (gravel, limestone) and touches of sweet spices (liquorice, cumin, cloves). The fruits on the nose are fresh and tangy: we find in particular the aromas of red cherry, red currants, raspberry and blueberry, as well as a very delicate touch of smoke in the background. On the palate, the attack expresses the slightly grippy tannins, but enveloped in a tangy and juicy fruity substance. We find notes of bigarreau cherry, raspberry, crunchy strawberry, red currant and blueberry, as well as herbaceous (wild mint, rose leaf), mineral (gravel, limestone), floral (rose) and slightly spicy touches (liquorice, cumin) The finish is persistent, slightly dry due to the tannic structure, balanced by a salivating acidity. This wine expresses firmness, which should soften with age.
