Mura mura – Miolera 2019 – Barbera d’Asti DOCG Superiore

Beautiful elegant and velvety nose that offers delicacy, a certain subtlety as well as a certain minerality. There are notes of pulpy blackberry, violet and small notes of pulpy purple plum associated with slight touches of juicy-roasted fruits as well as hints of sage, fresh flowers and a discreet hint of cubeb pepper. The mouth is fruity, slightly tight and offers suavity, minerality, a beautiful roundness, gourmandise, delicacy, an acidulous frame as well as precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of roasted cherry, purple plum and small notes of fleshy/juicy small fruits associated with slight touches of violet, quite ripe small red fruits as well as slight hints of badian, sage and a subtle hint of good bitterness in the background. Racy tannins. Beautiful definition. Good work on the good bitterness. Slight hints of chocolate. Beautiful suavity and persistence.
