The nose is powerful and offers intensity. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of red berries, blackberry and gray pepper associated with fine touches of toasted and liquorice (in the background). The palate is fresh, fruity, mineral, well-balanced, finely tight and offers a beautiful suavity, a beautiful gourmandize, a good definition, roundness, elegance, power, a fine unctuosity/ a fine fleshiness, a small tension, straightness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of crushed wild strawberry, plum associated with touches of liquorice, chocolate as well as discreet hints of vanilla, mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of copse (in theba). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
