The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of camphor, concentrated violet/flowers, small wild red berries, associated with fine touches of saffron (its floral side), juniper berries, as well as a discreet hint of smoke, bay laurel and sweet tobacco. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy and offers a nice small fatness, a certain roundness, gourmandise, an airy side and a nice small fatness, coating but in finess. It expresses notes of pulpy cassis, small brilliant red fruits and small notes of small bright red berries, combined with touches of laurel, laurel berries, concentrated flowers, as well as a hint of arbutus, crushed plum, toasted, roasted/roasted seed and a subtle hint of infusion and elegant darkness. Good length. Nice, discreet work on the good bitterness. A little richness, but well-balanced. Tannins are very discreetly marked.
