Moulin de La Lagune 2018 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a small spicy side. It reveals notes of crunchy wild raspberry, small berriesand small notes of violet associated with touches of small crunchy fruits as well as a hint of bramble and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, tension, a certain minerality as well as a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, small ripe/juicy red berriesand small notes of violet associated with touches of small crunchy red fruits, iris, spices as well as a very discreet hint of bramble, liquorice and very discreet hints of dark chocolate (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built. A persistence on notes of cocoa and caramelization. A beautiful grain on the finish/persistence.
