The nose is fresh. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, crunchy wild raspberry and small notes of varietals associated with touches of fleshy cassis as well as discreet hints of toasted/chocolate. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers an acidulous frame as well as a beautiful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/crunchy cassis, crunchy raspberry and more slightly crunchy/juicy blackberry associated with small touches of crunchy wild strawberry as well as small touches of sweet spices, toasted/chocolate, a very discreet hint of mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of caramelized almond (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length. The finish is very discreetly grainy.
