Morgan Truchetet Morey-Saint-Denis 2022 – Morey-Saint-Denis

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers a certain concentration and juiciness and expresses notes of ripe fruits: red cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry and wild blackberry, associated with a racy mineral framework (limestone rock), light spicy notes (liquorice, white pepper), flowers (a hint of rose) and a hint of toast. The palate is juicy, chiseled, with tangy fruits on the attack. We find in particular the flavors of bigarreau cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant and cranberries, associated with a hint of blackcurrant leaf, toast and a slight bitterness of coffee, as well as a hint of liquorice and white pepper. Tannins are fine, slightly grippy. The finish is rather persistent, tangy and salivating.
