The whisky has a caramel amber color with shine. The nose is intense with hints of liquorice and baked apple. The grains are very marked with cream and white grapes. The palate is fruity with notes of baked apple, stewed black cherry and orange. Grains are still very present. The mid-palate is smooth and the finish takes off nicely on aromas of currants. There is power, a slight bitterness on the finish. It’s complex and straight, with a side of fresh cut grass.
