Montevetrano – Core Rosso 2022 – Campania IGT Aglianico

The nose is aromatic, elegant, precise, clean and offers energy, a certain complexity and an intense side in elegance. There are notes of wild blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of blood orange, associated with touches of cornflower, small elegant fruits, as well as fine, almost lemony, floral hints in the background. The palate is fruity, mineral, it presents good definition, precision, suppleness, a certain elegance and gourmandise. It offers precision, energy and good purity of fruit, substance and richness, but with precision and balance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, raspberry and small notes of juicy/tangy plum, combined with touches of blood orange, as well as a subtle hint of delicate pepper, toasted, a hint of undergrowth, cardamom and bright hazelnut. Good length. Nicely juicy, fresh and elegant wine. Nice freshness. A subtle hint of cocoa nibs on the persistence.
