The nose is elegant, fruity and offers freshness, a small concentration as well as intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of ripe strawberry associated with small touches of violet, graphite, hints of racy minerality as well as discreet hints of garrigue, very fine hints of meat and a subtle hint of black olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers elegance, a mineral frame, a small density, sapidity, a good structure as well as very discreetly tight matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/fleshy cassis, ripe/fleshy blackberry and small notes of small berries associated with small touches of liquorice, red fruits (cherry, wild raspberry) as well as discreet hints of liquorice, garrigue as well as very discreet hints of meat and chocolate (in the background). Tannins are elegant. Good length. There are very fine hints of underwood on the finish.
