Montemelino Grechetto 2022 – Trasimeno DOC Grechetto

The nose is expressive and lively. The first dominant aromas evoke dried fruits (bitter almond, hazelnut). It also expresses the aromas of fresh quince, lime, dry bitter orange, blood orange, dried lemon, pineapple and apricot, associated with floral notes of acacia, linden and apple blossom, as well as hay, peach and sweet spices. The palate offers a slight dry and gripping, chiseled sensation, which balances its oily and round texture. It expresses the flavors of lemon, lime, apricot, peach, blood orange, as well as honey and wax. The finish offers the acidity of Meyer lemon, good persistence, with good bitterness, a touch of bitter almond and sweet spices. The structure is firm, with a nice tangy structure.
