The nose is concentrated, fruity, aromatic and quite powerful. It reveals hints of cassis cream, slight notes of blueberry, wild strawberry and spices associated with a discreet hint of grove and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers a good volume, fat as well as a mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of strawberry associated with hints of toasted oak, sweet spices as well as slight notes of vanilla, discreet hints of chocolate and a hint of black tea. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length. There is suavity on the finish, and a (very) discreet hint of soft caramel on the persistence.
