The nose is mineral and fruity. There are notes of fresh cherry, pulpy raspberry and, to a lesser extent, violet, combined with hints of nutmeg and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, gourmandise, fine tension and fine grain. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, plum and, to a lesser extent, bright redcurrant, combined with hints of violet, fresh tobacco and discreet hints of racy minerality and toasted almond/vanilla. The tannins are supple.
