The nose is fruity and offers power and concentration. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of black cherry and touches of crushed strawberry combined with a touch of cornflower, licorice, sweet spices, a very discreet hint of laurel as well as an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper and caramelized oak. The mouth is mineral, fruity, juicy, well-balanced, a bit gourmande and offers fluidity, suavity, a fine tension, a fine concentration, freshness as well as a fine straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of ripe cherry, crushed cassis and crushed blackberry combined with small touches of crushed / fleshy strawberry, colas, black olives and small touches of toasted / caramelized oak and a discreet hint of vanilla. Tannins are a bit firm.
