Mocali – Mirus 2022 – Maremma Toscana Rosso DOC

The nose is fruity, gourmand, silky with brilliance. It reveals notes of roasted-elegant cherry, strawberry and small notes of crushed cassis associated with touches of cornflower, star anise, a hint of Cabernet Franc and licorice. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandise, a mineral and a tangy frame, good definition, precision, a certain small tension, energy and offers purity and delicacy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of brilliant cherry, small roasted-elegant red fruits and small notes of juicy/sparkling plum associated with touches of zan as well as a hint of black olive and toasted-caramel. Good length. A hint of black olive in the background. Hint of balsamic on the finish.
