The wine has a medium ruby color. The nose offers a beautiful burst of fruit and ripe aromas, but with freshness. It expresses notes of fresh red and black fruits (Morello cherry, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, red currant). There are also notes of smoked meat, roasted aromatic herbs and spices (cloves, nutmeg, liquorice). On the palate, the tannic structure is a little firm, with slightly dry tannins and a slight bitterness. But the wine has enough juiciness and concentration to sweeten them. It expresses flavors of juicy red and black fruits (strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, red plum, blueberry, blackberry), accompanied by a sweet note of cocoa, cinnamon and liquorice in the background. The finish is persistent, a little dry at first, but juicy and fruity later, accompanied by lively acidity.
