The wine has a pale lemon color. The nose is complex, aromatic and offers a precise and pure minerality. It expresses smoky notes of gunflint, wet stone, and a chalky touch, associated with tangy fruity aromas (yellow lemon, pomelo), as well as sweeter notes of fresh pineapple, green papaya and white peach, white flowers (linden, acacia, apple blossom), as well as subtle notes of cut grass, hay, fresh peppermint, oregano and a slight toasted, spicy (nutmeg, vanilla) and honeyed touch. On the palate, the wine offers fullness and roundness, combined with good acidity and liveliness. It expresses notes of ripe stone fruits (yellow peach, apricot), a touch of exotic fruits (pineapple, green papaya), candied citrus fruits (candied yellow lemon, candied orange peel), as well as slightly sweet spiciness (vanilla, a hint of cinnamon) and floral notes (apple blossom, acacia). The finish is long and complex – it also expresses a delicate smoky side (flint), toasted and honeyed (acacia honey), balanced by a beautiful salivating acidity. A deep, fleshy wine, with freshness and good balance.
