The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a small power as well as elegance. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe small blue fruits associated with touches of ripe strawberry, slight hints of gray pepper, very slight hints of caramelization, tonka bean, olive as well as very discreet hints of flowers, spices and an imperceptible hint of tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, juiciness, precision, a good structure, a good definition as well as a mineral and slightly acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, ripe red berries and small notes of small blue fruits associated with small touches of violet, liquorice, spices, racy minerality as well as a very discreet hint of black olive and an imperceptible hint of laurel / olive (in the background). Tannins are elegant. Good persistence with hints of blond tobacco, toasted / caramelization (bring gourmandize).
