The nose is fruity, aromatic and slightly powerful, a nice balance as well as elegance. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, blackberry and slight touches of blue fruits combined with a subtle hint of ripe strawberry, subtle touches of spices, toasted touches, tonka bean as well as a discreet hint of caramelization and a subtle / discreet touch of tea (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, beautifully velvety and offers a beautiful finesse / delicacy, a very nice minerality / freshness, an acid frame, gourmandise as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, fleshy cassis and slight notes of fleshy red berries associated with touches of caramelization, chocolate as well as beautiful touches of toasted oak and subtle touches of toasted almond. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm.
