The nose is fresh, aromatic, racy and offers sense of place (local biotop). We find notes of sage/oregano, wild cassis and small notes of small roasted-fresh red fruits associated with fine touches of cooked blueberry as well as discreet hints of nutmeg, sweet spices and black olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a nice acidulous frame, tension as well as a certain straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, juicy/ripe cassis and small notes of small black berries associated with touches of small crushed red berries, fine hints of sage, warm local soil, a fine hint of chocolate and black olive. Tannins are supple. Good length.
