Mazzei, Ser Lapo 2021 – Chianti Classico Riserva

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers juiciness, the gourmandise of ripe fruit, as well as tension and tanginess. It expresses notes of morello cherry, crushed raspberry, blackberry, wild strawberry, as well as a delicate roasted and toasted touch (roasted red cherry, roasted bouquet garni, toasted wood, toasted hazelnut, cocoa). There are also spicy aromas (cubeb pepper, liquorice, cardamom, a hint of vanilla), lily and peony, as well as a gourmet touch of chocolate morello cherry. The palate is concentrated, juicy and fruity. The attack offers flavors of ripe fruit (morello cherry, blackberry, roasted red cherry, blackcurrant, raspberry, strawberry), as well as a toasted touch (toasted hazelnut, cocoa, coffee, heated wood, dark chocolate).
