The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers a certain concentration, juiciness and ripe fruit. It expresses notes of fresh morello cherry, dried red cherry, raspberry coulis, red cherry in kirsch (in the background), wild blackberry and wild plum, associated with a mineral touch (dry stone, limestone), fresh tobacco, a touch of cedar, spices (white pepper, cloves, ground nutmeg, a hint of liquorice in the background), with integrated herbaceous and vegetal notes (basil, mint, green olive), fresh rose and tangy fruits (crunchy strawberry, bigarreau cherry, raspberry, cranberries, blackcurrant, blueberry, blood orange in the background). The palate expresses freshness and concentration. We find notes of bigarreau cherry, juicy morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, blueberry, crushed raspberry and crunchy strawberry, associated with a good bitterness of cranberries, herbaceous and vegetal notes (basil, peppermint, fresh tobacco, olive), a floral hint (fresh rose) and spicy notes (liquorice, ground cumin, grated nutmeg). The finish is tight, chiselled and tangy: we find a salivating acidity, firm, slightly drying tannins and a good bitterness.
