The nose is relatively aromatic, relatively gourmand and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of fresh red fruits combined with dark chocolate, hints of oak as well as a touch of Sichuan pepper, nutmeg and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, quite gourmande, well-balanced, slightly aerial and offers an acid frame, tension, a nice fat and suavity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fresh / crunchy strawberry and slight notes of redcurrants, cassis associated with a touch of licorice, toasted wood, a discreet hint of chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of tobacco and an imperceptible hint of clove. A well-balanced and harmonious wine.
